I’m Lynsey Carr, a versatile brand and creative designer with nearly two decades of experience, specialising in medical communications. Beginning my career in Scotland, I honed my skills as a magazine designer for a number of national newspapers before moving to Head of Design for Niche Publications at Scottish Media Group. After 10 years working over the border, I moved back to my native North East and started working as senior designer for a leading creative agency.

In 2013, I founded my freelance design agency, Butterfly Creative, to embark on new challenges. Now specialising in medical communications design, I excel in crafting innovative solutions for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. My expertise spans comprehensive branding and marketing campaigns, website designs, wire framing, engaging infographics, printed collateral and digital assets. I’ve also honed my skills in developing impactful Powerpoint and Keynote presentations for esteemed pharmaceutical clients including Amarin, Bayer, Clinigen and Lexicon.
